**FYI : Fred Meyer is having a BOGO 1/2 off sale on most cosmetic brands till 4/7.**
I started using their eye shadow last April after a friend recommended it to me. I'm usually not a drug store brand kind of girl when it comes to eyeshadow. I will use Covergirl's Lash Blast mascara or Revlon's lip color but I usually stick to eyeshadow brands from Nordstrom or Sephora until my friend introduced me to Wet & Wild.
I love how satin and smooth the shadows are & the fact that they are really pigmented. It's super easy to use and it tells you what color goes on which part of your lids for those that are new to makeup.
Each palette comes with 2 small brushes which I don't use since I have my ELF brushes but I think it's a good starter pack for someone who just want something cheap but good quality. I usually bring my Silent Treatment when I go on weekend trips because of how small and convenient it is to carry around. Here are swatches for both palettes:
The colors are hard to see for Silent Treatment (left) but I love it! It lives up to it's name since its so subtle and a perfect light smoky eye suitable for work.
I also picked up two bottles of nail polishes! One is a new formula and one is their older version.
I tried out the one on the left. The color is similar to China Glaze's "For Audrey" (Tiffany Blue) and what I really like about it is how opaque the color is with just 2 thin coats. The brush is bigger/flatter which I personally like since it only takes 2-3 swipes to cover my whole nail! :)
The new formula came out with a few new colors that I haven't seen before. I think I might go back to pick up two more before the sale ends! Most likely the purplish-blue on the far right and one of those pinkish neutral. :)
Great tip! You make me want to go buy/try their products now. I just have too much make up and nail polish though :/
